Who we are is good enough

FullSizeRender (1)One of the first conversations we have on my Authenticity workshops is about the word “Authenticity”.

We ask – what does it mean? And why is it useful at the front-of-the-room? And the conversation is mostly the same – it means genuine, natural, real and open. Why it’s useful – builds trust, engagement, interest and is memorable.

And people are invited to explore what THEIR Authenticity is. They are reassured that they will not be told that what they are doing is right, or wrong – but invited to consider whether what they do is useful (to achieve what they want to achieve) or not.

That the best way to show up at the front-of-the-room is as themselves. Cos who they are, is good enough.
